The moment her mother saw her doing this, she made the decision to encourage the young artist instead of getting upset. This simple act had a big and positive impact. Beginning at the age of twelve, Silvy was enrolled in an after-school program at a very exclusive art school in her hometown of Cartagena, Colombia, Escuela de Bellas Artes. This is where she first learned and began honing her skills to paint on canvas with oils.

My artwork embodies a vibrant and imaginative style, often blending elements of realism and fantasy. As a muralist, I strive to create large-scale public art that inspires and uplifts communities.
In this particular piece, I employed a mix of bold brushstrokes, vivid colors, and intricate details to bring the scene to life. The boy sitting amidst the ruins serves as a poignant symbol of resilience and hope.
My approach to art is centered around storytelling and emotional connection. I aim to craft visually striking narratives that resonate with viewers on a deeper level.
Philosophically, my work is guided by a belief in the transformative power of imagination and creativity. I seek to inspire others to envision a brighter, more compassionate world.
The themes I work with show the human capacity for optimism and resilience in the face of adversity.
