My name is Steph King, also known as Spectral Styles, and I am a painter/muralist originally from Houston, Texas! I recently relocated to San Antonio, and I am excited to join the art community here! I have a lifetime of experience in the arts, and I am passionate about self-expression and authenticity. I’ve always felt creativity is my superpower, and one of the best ways for me to connect with my loved ones and friends. I am a meticulous planner when it comes to my work, and I find great joy in creating for others. I specialize in painting, but I also enjoy graphic design and digital art. Tell us about your work (style, approach, philosophy, subject and/or theme):
The best part about art is the endless possibilities of design and color. I pride myself on being able to fit my style with any theme or design, but my personal favorite works are portraits. Faces and figures can convey so much meaning just by their exsistance, and my art serves to be a conductor for the appreciation of the diversity of the human species. I take my time to plan designs and colors to be as aesthetically pleasing and balanced as they can be. No space will be left untouched. Sensuality, femininity and pop-culture are main themes in my repertoire.
