Tess Muth is a continually active, transformative and prolific contemporary artist with over thirty-six years of experience. A San Antonio native, she has lived, studied, exhibited and traveled, extensively in the United States and Europe. Her formal art education includes study at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in Fine Art/Painting and the Atrium Academia de Artes with Catalonian painter Eugenio Estriche in Zaragoza, Spain. Inspired by her travel exposure, her signature fusion process embeds bold and colorful multi-media layers to create incredible depth, movement and vitality. Her creations have been appreciated in multiple venues and possess broad print, advertising, corporate and public appeal. She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, benefits, charity events, membership in numerous community artist organizations and representation in galleries and private collections worldwide. Tess currently resides and maintains a studio in San Antonio, Texas.

ARTIST STATEMENT I am a constantly evolving contemporary artist. My inspiration is drawn from nature, the cosmos, and the metaphysical. Thoughts, visions, ideas and feelings are expressed in bold color, reflected light and vigorous texture. I intend to stimulate an emotional reaction and convey curiosity, playfulness and wild imagination. The wonders of our world, vastness of the universe and everyday experience are intertwined. What is visualized and perceived becomes my art!
