Theresa Escobedo (b. 1991) is a San Antonio-born multidisciplinary artist working across illustration, graphic design, tattoo, and mixed media. Raised within the cultural and arts communities of South Texas, Escobedo developed an early connection to creative practice through local arts programs and community-based initiatives.
Over the past fifteen years, she has lived and worked throughout Austin, St. Louis, Chicago, and New York, building a practice informed by movement, collaboration, and DIY culture. Her work draws from punk aesthetics, folk traditions, tattoo imagery and social resistance, using diverse materials and techniques to investigate identity, memory, and cultural connection.
