I am an abstract expressionist painter who works in multiple mediums such as oil, acrylic, cold wax, pastels, mixed media, and collage on canvas, paper, or wood. I also practice impressionist-style painting in oil, pastel, gouache, and watercolor on canvas or paper as well as hand-make wood frames for paintings. I have a passion for experimentation with multiple visual styles and mediums.

I was born near Washington, D.C., raised in San Antonio, Texas, and currently based out of the Southside of San Antonio. I studied oil painting under private instruction from San Antonio artist, Scottie Biggers, from 1990-1994. I earned an A.A.S. Degree from Palo Alto College. I spent one decade in the service industry, another decade in the logistics industry, and a decade in the healthcare industry. I now dedicate my time to creating paintings inspired by my personal experiences and my love for the city and culture of San Antonio and the surrounding Texas Hill Country. My subjects often include landscapes, cityscapes, flowers, and still life. My mission is to create art that provokes reflection on self, society, and culture through visual art media.
