I am a multimedia artist living here in San Antonio, Texas.
I specialize in music composition, recording, mixing, mastering and live performance, but I love video editing as well. These two are my primary forms of income and have been doing them full time for 2 years now. I am the lead member of my band “The Wizard” and sole proprietor of Fuzzy Cat Records, a record label I started back in 2016. I have gone on to produce music events, book tours, as well as go on my own tour with my band for two years consistently. We plan to continue to expand and grow our audience outside of Texas, but San Antonio will always be home.
My style of music is in the vein of Rock / Blues / Psychedelia, and love anything with a jam aspect. I have a pretty free spirit when it comes to creating music and art, so whatever the mood is for the piece I am trying to create, that's what will eventually come into fruition. I love people like Ty Segall, The Grateful Dead, and Frank Zappa and how their production style and musical output and defined their careers. I take huge inspiration from these artists as well as Funkadelic and Jimi Hendrix.
I approach and philosophy to music and video editing is with a chaotic control. Like capturing lightning in a bottle. I love the energy and rawness of art and music, and I enjoy capturing the free spirit when locked into an artistic venture. I think it is very important not to lose that chaotic nature of creation, for that's the freedom we all seek. It is very easy to get wrapped up in the presentation and production of art and loose focus on that raw element. It is my job as an artist to break down that ridged process to expose the underlying freedom we all need out of life.
My subject is life and the beauty and distress it presents in the everyday I like to capture the duality of human existence as a means to understand the process of living and how I can better my time and those around me. For art is just a reflection of our reality and what we wand to incur in our daily life.
The Wizard\'s most recent album that I produced and recorded.
