My name is Zach Jewell. I am a poet, photographer, percussionist, entrepreneur and educator with a passion for community wellness and using the arts to elevate the lives of individuals and their communities. I have been a drummer/percussionist for twenty-eight years, playing with multiple groups within the San Antonio area for twenty-three of those years. I have been writing and performing poetry for nineteen years. I have a self-published book of poetry and won second place in the Say Owt! poetry slam at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland.
