Zet Baer is a multifaceted artist, producer, dancer, and spiritual guide who thrives on the challenges presented by diverse mediums and platforms. With a deep-rooted compassion for humanity, a profound connection to nature, and a dedication to holistic living, she has devoted her life to empowering others to express their authentic selves.
Having earned her B.A. degree from the University of Texas at Austin, Zet has augmented her education with multiple artistic expressions, enriching her understanding and proficiency in her craft. She has shared her expertise by teaching papermaking at the Southwest School of Art (now UTSA Southwest Campus) and delving into the intricacies of Complex Cloth under the tutelage of Jane Dunnewold beginning in the 1990s, a journey she continues through participation in the Creative Strength Training program. In 2024 Zet was part of the Enso Circle, a twelve week invitational, international, online art residency, further honing her artistic vision and goals.
In 1992, Zet co-founded Celebration Circle, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the fusion of art and spirituality, embodying her belief in the transformative power of creative expression. Her commitment to the arts community extends to her involvement on the boards of organizations such as the San Antonio Art League and Museum, Jump-Start Performance Co. and Fiber Artists of San Antonio, demonstrating her dedication to fostering artistic endeavors and community enrichment.
