2nd Annual San Antonio African American Book Festival - The Power of Black Literature

The Friends of Carver Library created the San Antonio African American Book Festival to introduce and highlight San Antonio’s African American Authors while promoting Literacy in the Black Community.

The Friends of Carver Library proudly present the 2nd Annual San Antonio African American Book Festival (SAAABF). We will feature 30 local African American Authors, show a presentation on the History of Carver Library and host a discussion titled "Why We Must Read & Write African American Literature". The 2nd Annual San Antonio African American Book Festival is a free and family friendly event.

The SAAABF will be virtually streamed on Zoom. You must register on EventBrite to attend this event.

The Friends of Carver Library is a member of The Friends of San Antonio Public Library.
