In 2020 the International Peace Market / Mercado de Paz celebrates 31 years of combining the arts with economic empowerment, international and cultural exchange, and social consciousness. We will continue to offer quality handmade goods and artisanal goods from international and local vendors. The only difference will be that instead of a physical space of an open-air market, we will be meeting our global and local community in an open-air cyber-mercado that continues to offer handcrafted artesania from diverse cultures in San Antonio and around the globe. In addition, the 2020 virtual Mercado will feature demonstrations, pláticas, música and connections to your favorite international and local vendors via social media sites, YouTube presentations and yes, even by phone.
