Jump-Start Performance Co. presents 8 X 8 Cabaret du Jump en Noir, curated by Andrea “Vocab” Sanderson.
This year we are turning over our annual 8 X 8 platform to Black voices in our community. 8 X 8 Cabaret du Jump en Noir features eight pre-recorded, innovative 8-minute performances. Each night consists of four acts, followed by a panel discussion with that evening's featured artists. An exquisite pairing of palpable artistry combined with awareness of Black identity and culture is being displayed in this unique format, hosted live by “Vocab”. Admission is at the audience members’ discretion to “choose-what-you-pay”: $0, $4, $8, $16 or $20. A Zoom link and password will be emailed after the purchase is complete.
