Alamo City Symphony Viva Spanish Sketches

Alamo City Arts opens its season at the Majestic Theatre with Alamo City Symphony Viva in a program called Spanish Sketches, in homage to the countryside of Spain!  The orchestral version of De Falla’s masterful and spellbinding ballet El amor brujo will be brought to life by Alamo City Dance Company with new choreography by director Susan Treviño.  San Antonio guitarist Johnny Peña joins the orchestra for Rodrigo’s sunny and impassioned Concierto de Aranjuez,  The afternoon concludes with Rimsky-Korsakov’s exuberant Capriccio Espagnol.
