An Evening with Las Coronelas

Join us for a screening of the HBO original documentary, 15: A Quinceañera Story, featuring two members of escaramuza team, Las Coronelas de San Antonio, followed by a Q&A with the girls and their teammates.

The film follows best friends Jackie and Nina as they prepare for their joint quinceañera, a traditional rite of passage for Latinas on their fifteenth birthdays, while they pursue their love of escaramuza, a popular Mexican sport in which teams of all-female riders perform choreographed drills on horseback.
