Andrea Reyes at Terminal 136

Andrea Reyes’ paintings appeal to the sense of touch using different mediums to create actual, physical texture. They are three-dimensional paintings with an interest in shape, a variation of tonality, and color. The exhibition is influenced by the behavior and decision making of children when using a material for the first time and how they apply it to the surface of a painting. The endless possibilities along with random or accidental occurrences of a material helped develop the paintings in Momento.
