Árboles de Vida del Westside: A Clay Exhibition by MujerArtes Cooperativa

Árboles de Vida del Westside is a clay exhibition put together by the MujerArtes Clay Coopertiva of the Esperanza. This curation represents the traditions, artists, activists, celebrations, places, moments de nuestros barrio y cultura.  Started in 1995 and operating out of a house in San Antonio’s Westside, the MujerArtes women, with the guidance of experienced ceramicists, shape clay into historic snapshots of their lives as workers, heads of households and marginalized women.
