Artist Talk and Studio Open Night Exhibit "Carlos" an organic study of the landscape of hope and resilience

Douglas Galloway Studio is excited to present San Antonio based artist Galloway’s new series of works entitled “Carlos” as part of this years Contemporary Arts Month. This series of abstract agave, yucca and cactus paintings are a dedication to the strength and resilience of the artist’s best friend who passed away of AIDS over 20 years ago. Galloway states: “ The “Carlos” series is not only dedicated to this amazing individual, but to all those we have loved and lost too soon. I created these images of his courage and beauty thru desert landscapes; with the hope and desire that others will search and find him there, as I have, time and again.” The exhibit will open at 6:00pm with an Artist Talk, followed by a wine reception. The Carlos series will be available to view through the month of March. Studio hours and tours are by appointment.
