Bajo Sexto Classes

Learn the art of Conjunto music by registering for bajo sexto class. This unique program offers students professional instruction on this Mexican 12-string guitar. Starting February 1, bajo sexto class will take place at Taller studios under the direction of former student and recent college graduate, Roberto Casillas. He received his degree in music from Texas State University and has returned to San Antonio to perform with various mariachis and conjuntos in town. Conjunto veteran Jesse Borrego also joins Roberto on accordion to help guide students.
