“Battle of the Bars” Golf Tournament

Hill Country Golf Club, located at Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa, will host the “Battle of the Bars” golf tournament on September 24.  Teams from San Antonio-area restaurants and bars will face off against each other in a four-person scramble golf tournament.  Each team will play 18 holes while stopping off at 15 stations featuring beer, wine, and spirit tastings throughout the course.  Participants will also be able to play a “closest to the pin” contest judged by Miss San Antonio, and are invited to an after-game reception featuring an Oktoberfest-themed menu, live music, and an award ceremony.

The tournament will also include a raffle with proceeds benefiting Animal Defense League of Texas, a non-profit organization that serves as a no-kill shelter for abandoned, abused, and neglected dogs and cats in San Antonio.  The organization will also have adoptable dogs on-site looking for their forever homes.
