Creative Writing Workshop with Vocab Sanderson and Write Art Out

It’s time to spring into National Poetry Month 2022 #NPMSA2022 with an event that has something for everyone.

On, April 7th 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Andrea VOCAB Sanderson and Write Art Out host a free creative writing workshop, open mic, and poetry showcase at The Twig located in the historical Pearl Brewery. Please feel free to bring your own lawn chairs, writing utensils, and paper. But we will provide these items on a first come, first served basis.

The Twig, Vocab and Write Art Out have worked to provided a curated reading list of poetry titles available for purchase.

The workshop will cover some basic literary tools and have a writing prompt for participants, sharing time that leads into an open mic and conclude with a showcase of preselected spoken word poets that will join us for the event.
