Día de los Muertos at Hemisfair (Muertos Fest)

Día de los Muertos (Muertos Fest) returns to Hemisfair for a ninth year with a FREE two-day festival on October 23rd and 24th. What began as San Antonio’s beloved Día de los Muertos cultural event has become one the nation’s top destinations to celebrate the Day of the Dead. Listed as one of the “7 Best Fall Festivals in the USA” by National Geographic, Muertos Fest merges traditional Día de los Muertos elements with local art, food, live music and entertainment.

Festivities will include a multi-stage lineup of live bands, dance and poetry performances; the largest open altar exhibition in San Antonio; an arts market featuring original Day of the Dead crafts and artwork; a drum, dance and puppet procession; workshops; children’s programming and more.
