This year, Mission Marquee Plaza’s 3rd annual celebration commemorates Mission San Jose’s 300th anniversary. Learn the history, symbolism, and traditions of Dia de los Muertos.
The Virtual Dia de los Muertos Celebrando las Misiones will include discussions on pan de muerto, demonstrations on sugar skull making, Altars by Mission San Jose descendant families, music and dance performances, and an outdoor art exhibit featuring works by San Antonio artists (exhibit will be on display at Mission Marquee Plaza from November 1-December 31 from 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 a.m.
