Día del Niño Family Festival

Día de Los Niños is an international holiday honoring children. San Antonio has been celebrating this day since 1998, with a festival of interactive activities and experiences for every age group. Start by making streamers for the children’s parade, then throw a “chancla” or hear a story by one of San Antonio’s talented authors. Choose activities such as San Antonio’s own Que Sabor! Lotería de comida or make a paper hat then decorate it with paper flowers or grind cacao beans on a metate. Every activity is designed for good times and great family memories. A few food vendors will be available, but you can bring your own picnic lunch if you prefer. The UTSA campus is full of trees and inviting spaces where you can spend the day. Make this day special for the children in your life.
