DreamWeek Virtual Poetry Reading, Hosted by Andrea “Vocab” Sanderson

Join us for a live virtual poetry reading hosted by San Antonio’s official Poet Laureat, Andrea “Vocab” Sanderson. Community poets, activists, and students have used pieces from the Museum’s collection as inspiration for their poems. This event is in partnership with DreamWeek.

The San Antonio DreamWeek Summit is comprised of hundreds of events presented by local organizations and individuals with the collective purpose to foster the free exchange of ideas on universal issues affecting the human race. The aim is to invite all to participate in an open and welcoming arena, where real-world issues are engaged in a well-balanced manner, with the understanding that the truest voices will always prevail. DreamWeek’s mission is to celebrate our humanity by creating environments for civil and civic engagement to embrace ideas and dreams for the common good.
