El Grito Cultural Program and Civic Ceremony

The Consulate General of Mexico in San Antonio, in collaboration with the City of San Antonio, LULAC, La Familia Cortez, the Diez y Seis Commission, and the Mexico-San Antonio Friendship Council, invite you to celebrate Mexico’s independence. In honor of these historic events, the cultural program will begin at 6:30 pm on Thursday, September 15, at Historic Market Square at San Saba Street.

Later, on Saturday, September 17 and Sunday, September 18, we continue with the celebration of Fiestas Patrias with a traditional festival, in which you can enjoy food booths, artisans, and entertainment in Historic Market Square with your family.
The profits from El Grito San Antonio will be donated to LULAC, a foundation that supports students of Hispanic origin to continue their studies.
