This event is an art exhibit consisting of work that addresses the stories and experiences of motherhood.
Too often motherhood is depicted through an ideal lens, where only certain features are praised and much else left taboo. Everything but the Beginning is an exhibit with works inspired by the stories and experiences of motherhood with a focus on non-traditional aspects such as adoption, mothering through prison bars, or addiction.
