Backstreet to the American Dream is a modern-day look at the classic American Dream done through the quintessential 21st Century entrepreneurial endeavor - food trucks!

The film that won the Audience Award for Best Documentary Feature and Best Food Film at the 2022 San Antonio Film Festival is back for educational screenings in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month.

Backstreet to the American Dream is a modern-day look at the classic American Dream done through the quintessential 21st Century entrepreneurial endeavor - food trucks! Mexican soda giant, Jarritos, is the promotional partner and the 2012 Medal of Freedom recipient Dolores Huerta is the executive producer of Backstreet to the American Dream. Film Director/Producer Patricia Nazario will be at The Brick for a live Q&A following the screening.
