Lisa Nigro seamlessly blends sculpture and 2D works, exploring the symbolic depth of the heart.
A series of ceramic clay and silver platter assemblages that engage the iconic symbol of the heart by examining its meaning through societal constructs as in the old idiom "served on a silver platter." They speak of class sets in both American and European history and culture.
