HTxCB Talent Showcase 2018

HTxCB Talent Showcase 2018 will feature arrangers, guest conductors and soloists from the membership of the band. Trumpet soloist, Kate Kostellic will perform Geoffrey Bergler’s Concerto in F Minor.  Wayne Haymes’ piece  “By Any Other Name” will be premiered at this concert.  Horn soloist Joel Lopez will play Mozart’s Horn Concerto No. 2. “Havendance”, by David R. Holsinger will be conducted by Thomas Esperiqueta. Chase Failing will also conduct a Holsinger work entitled “On a Hymnsong of Philip Bliss”.  Also performed at this concert will be “Shepherd’s Hey” by Percy Aldridge Grainger, edited by R. Mark Rogers, conducted by Alexandra Velasquez.
