Students will exhibit their own artwork created in response to Black Cowboys: An American Story at the Robert J. and Helen C. Kleberg South Texas Heritage Center of the Witte Museum.

Black Cowboys: An American Story at the Witte Museum explores the lives and work of the numerous Black men, women, and children - enslaved and free- who labored on the ranches of Texas and participated in the cattle drives before the Civil War through the turn of the twentieth century.
