Indie Lens Pop-Up - Coded Bias

Presa House presents a FREE Indie Lens Pop-Up virtual screening of “Coded Bias” on March 14, at 6 PM. The evening also includes a screening of “The History of White People in America.”

When MIT Media Lab researcher Joy Buolamwini discovers that most facial-recognition software does not accurately identify darker-skinned faces or the faces of women, she delves into an investigation of widespread bias in algorithms. As it turns out, artificial intelligence (AI) is not neutral. Join us for a virtual screening + community-driven conversation of #CodedBiasPBS on Sunday, March 14, 2021.
