In celebration of SAY Si’s 25th anniversary year, “Invisible Threads” celebrates our organization and the many links that tie our work to the creative community of San Antonio. The exhibit will showcase the community that has built SAY Sí including alumni, staff, artists in residence, and artist participants in our various exhibits and events throughout our history. In addition, we will present in the exhibition an overview of our core programs and the impact they have had on our youth, community, the city and nation.
The event will be one of the touchstone events for the organization as we showcase programs and exhibitions to mark our 25th anniversary. We hope that the exhibit will highlight the impact that SAY Sí has had on the creative and cultural landscape in San Antonio. We feel that our organization creates a ripple effect in every single life that the program touches and this exhibition will shine a light on the collective impact the SAY Sí programming has had on the lives of so many. Additionally, one of SAY Sí’s core values is reciprocal learning, so we also acknowledge the contributions of the many creatives that have shaped and strengthened our organization.
Once you belong to the SAY SI community there is this invisible thread that links you back to us, sometimes its slack, but many times is taunt, reminding you of who you are, and how your impact has many intersections.
