The fifth and the last concert in the San Antonio Chamber Music’s 80th season will take place on April 23, 2023 and feature the Isidore String Quartet for its San Antonio debut!
An emerging string quartet known for a uniquely personal sound and a vitality in interpretation, the Isidore recently won the top honor in the 2022 Banff International String Quartet Competition. Comprised of recent Juilliard graduates, the New York City-based ensemble formed in 2019 with a focus on revisiting, rediscovering, and reinvigorating the string quartet repertoire. Tickets are $25 each and may be purchased at the door or online up to one day prior to the concert at the SACMS web site (https://www.sacms.org/concert-tickets/). Students and active military are admitted free. The concert will begin at 3:15 PM at the Temple Beth-El, 211 Belknap Place, San Antonio. There is free parking in the Temple’s parking lot. The seating is open at this event and attendees are encouraged to arrive at least 15 min prior to concert time for best seat selection.
