In conjunction with the art exhibition by Sabra Booth, Herbal Traces: Medicinal Plants of South-Central Texas and as part of Palo Alto College’s women’s history month events, Lyssa Ochoa, M.D., will lecture about her career as a vascular surgeon. Dr. Ochoa was born and raised along the Texas-Mexico border. She went onto medical school, general surgery residency, and vascular surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. Dr. Ochoa is also the CEO and President of the San Antonio Vascular & Endovascular Clinic (SAVE). These clinics serve the need for compassionate, personalized, advanced vascular care to the growing population of San Antonio. A concurrent exhibition of the Herbal Traces project is also on display at the San Antonio Vascular & Endovascular Clinic (SAVE): South Central.
