MACRI-Smithsonian Jovita Idár Quarter Celebration

We hope to see you on Sunday, September 17th, for an extra special Fiestas Patrias Family Day event at Market Square dedicated to Jovita Idar!

This celebration for the launch of the new Jovita Idár quarter will include kids’ activities created by the Smithsonian inside Centro de Artes, and at 1:30PM, music and dance at the outdoor stage featuring the debut of a folklórico dance inspired by Jovita Idar’s life created by the Guadalupe Dance Company and a corrido by Gino Rivera accompanied by Mariachi Azteca de America!
