MACRI-US Mint-Smithsonian Jovita Idar Mural Launch

Join the Mexican American Civil Rights Institute for a celebratory kick-off for a new mural created by San Anto Cultural Arts at the Dress for Success San Antonio headquarters located at the corner of Frio and Robert B. Green Way (formerly Perez Street). This mural designed with community input will illustrate the remarkable life of Jovita Idár, a civil rights trailblazer, journalist, nurse, educator, and translator who lived on Perez Street and is the subject of a new US quarter.
