Maverick Poets: visual art & the spoken word

Maverick Poets are a group of local poets representing several venues around San Antonio. Poets viewed the artwork on display during the Faculty Exhibition at Northwest Vista College and wrote original works inspired by the artwork. A live poetry reading in coordination with National Poetry Month is scheduled for April 13 at 12:30 pm. Join us in person at the Palmetto Center for the Arts to view the art and hear the poems for the first time!

Poets include: Darrell Pittman, Linda Simone, Jeanie Sanders, Octavio Quintanilla, Charles Darnell, Chris Billings, Eddie Vega, Patricia Keoughan, Eddie Vega, Alexandra Van de Kamp, and Carolyn Chatham.

Artists include: Rachael Bower, Esteban Delgado, Tim Jones, Diana Kersey, Jimena Marin, Paul Northway, Theresa Northway, Jack Robbins, Andra Ramirez, Lisette Chavez, Sabra Booth, Cosby Lindquist, Sara Fields and Eric Franke.
