Mehregan Persian Autumn Festival

Mehr Foundation is proud to sponsor the second annual Mehregan Festival in celebration of Autumn harvest and Persian arts and culture.

Mehregan is and ancient Iranian festival, dating back thousands of years. The word “Mehr” (in Mehregan) in the Persian language means kindness. Mehr represents knowledge, love, light and friendship. Mehregan is an Iranian festival celebrated in honor of Mithra, the divinity of covenant, and hence of interpersonal relationships such as friendship, affection and love.

This years Mehregan Festival will include a vendor market, Persian tea house, art exhibits, live performances, kids activities and much more. This years highlighted artists include: Shiva Pakdel, Parissa Naini
