Mehregan Persian Autumn Festival

FREE EVENT: A festival in celebration of Persian arts and culture with live performances, market, food, music and more!

Mehr Foundation is proud to sponsor the second annual Mehregan Festival in celebration of Autumn harvest and Persian arts and culture. Mehregan is an ancient Iranian festival, dating back thousands of years. The word “Mehr” (in Mehregan) in the Persian language means kindness. Mehr represents knowledge, love, light and friendship. Mehregan is an Iranian festival celebrated in honor of Mithra, the divinity of covenant, and hence of interpersonal relationships such as friendship, affection and love.

This years Mehregan Festival will include a vendor market, art exhibits, live performances, food vendors, Persian tea garden and kids activities. We will be joined by renowned Iranian artist, Ardavan Mofid from Los Angeles and performances by the local Iranian Kids Group, Parisa and SA Ballet Company.
