Melanie Rush Davis | A Requirement of Time

Melanie Rush Davis: A Requirement of Time is an exhibition at Southwest School of Art documenting a lifetime of photography by the celebrated “pinhole queen” of San Antonio, Melanie Rush Davis (1955–2018) including dozens of portraits, parades, and haunted locations presented in a linear series.

As an artist, author, teacher and mentor, she was a beloved figure at Southwest School of Art where she taught pinhole photography for 30 years to aspiring artists. Her work has been shown throughout the world.

This show is a 2019 FOTOSEPTIEMBRE USA Exhibition.

The show and reception are free and open to the public. It will remain on display through Sept. 29.
