Music Ambassadors Year End Concert

San Antonio International Piano Competition celebrates its 2016-2017 Music Ambassadors with a Year-End Recital at University of the Incarnate Word’s Seddon Hall. These outstanding young pianists will present a wide and diverse selection of great music: Andrew Li. Mark Rogers, Chloe Castillo, Erin Guetzloe, Elisabeth Wang, Breanna Humphrey. This concert is free and open to the public.

In its third year, SAIPC’s popular Music Ambassadors program showcases the positive experiences music can bring to people of all ages. Ambassadors must be 19 years of age or younger. Candidates come to us recommended by their piano teachers, and are selected by a panel of judges for a term lasting from September 2016 through August 2017. 

Music Ambassadors represent SAIPC by speaking about music selections while playing free public recitals across the metro area. This program has helped 5-6 Ambassadors each year to prepare for music careers and build performance skills.
