Richard Kogan, M.D., a Harvard-trained psychiatrist and Juilliard-trained concert pianist, is renowned for his piano concert-lectures exploring the influence of mental illness and other psychological factors on the creative output of famous composers. In this concert-lecture, Dr. Kogan focuses on how Frédéric Chopin responded to extreme psychological challenges through constructive application of his musical genius.
