Online Poetry Panel: Puro Chicanx: Writers of the 21st Century

Join us as we listen to voices spanning generations in the recently published collection Puro Chicanx: Writers of the 21st Century. The idea behind Puro Chicanx is rooted in Mexican ancestral heritage and its marginalization by the dominant culture. This compilation explores family, barrio life, immigration, racism, opposition to oppression, and more. In addition to hearing select writings from Puro Chicanx, there will also be a panel discussion plus Q+A where panelists will expand on their community contributions within San Antonio and beyond.
