Opening Reception - "Ari Brielle: 27" and "Rossana Romero: Home is just an idea in my head."

Presa House welcomes Dallas native and visual artist Ari Brielle and Brooklyn-based Colombian artist Rossana Romero. No stranger to Texas, Romero has previously exhibited in Austin and is making her San Antonio solo debut. Brielle returns to San Antonio with a new solo exhibition following her participation in 2021’s Texas Biennial. Ari Brielle: 27 is a site-specific installation combining sound, painting, drawing, and photography, while Rossana Romero: Home is just an idea in my head features lush oil paintings and sculptures drawing inspiration from stories and folk tales of South America and the U.S. The opening reception will be held on Saturday, September 3, from 7 to 11 pm, and both artists will be in attendance. The exhibitions will remain on view by appointment through September 24, 2022.
