"Our Comida. Our Cultura." Exhibit

The Department of Arts & Culture presents “Our Comida. Our Cultura,” an exhibit of photographs, paintings, historic cookbooks, and other two-dimensional artworks, that explores San Antonio’s long tradition of Mexican, Mexican-American, and Tex-Mex food culture. The exhibit also celebrates the people – restaurateurs, patrons and cooks – who continue this tradition in their homes, kitchens and restaurants. The exhibit features historic cookbooks from the UTSA Libraries Special Collections. 

Participating artists include: Rolando Briseno, David Casillas, Jimena Marin, Destiny Mata, Arlene Mejorado, Mark Menjivar, and Chuck Ramirez. 

The exhibit remains on display through February 17, 2017.
