Outdoor Movie Series: Cinco de Mayo Celebration

Feliz Cinco de Mayo! Come celebrate Cinco de Mayo at Mission Marquee Plaza with the kick-off of the 2018 movie series featuring Coco! Enjoy mariachi music, ballet folklorico performances, food trucks, and family fun activities. 

This is the story of a young aspiring musician Miguel, who through a mysterious chain of events finds himself in the Land of the Dead where he sets off on a journey to unlock the true story of his family history. 

The Mission Marquee Plaza’s beautiful open-air environment is sure to offer a great view of the original jumbo screen. With plenty of lawn space, visitors are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and picnics to enjoy an evening of entertainment under the stars. 

Venue will open 5:30 p.m., the festivities will begin at 6 p.m. and the movie will begin 15 minutes after dusk at around 8:30. This event is brought to you by the City of San Antonio World Heritage Office.
