Palo Alto College Heritage Month

Join Palo Alto College for Heritage Month from Sept. 17 to Oct.12 to honor the Indigenous heritages of South Texas. The month will include a series of events including live music, panel discussions, film screenings, author readings, and more. 

A kickoff celebration will take place Monday, Sept. 17, with special guest District 4 City Councilman Rey Saldana; a panel discussion with renowned playwright Luis Valdez on Thursday, Sept. 20; and an Indigenous People’s Day ceremony on Monday, Oct. 8. All 2018 Heritage month events at Palo Alto College are free and open to the public.
