Perceptions of Texas

The UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures will partner with the Ayusa Global Exchange international student program for a new exhibit. High school-level students participating in Ayusa Global Exchange will use a variety of media to express their perceptions of Texas before and during their time here.

From culture shock, to favorite customs, to differences in schooling across the world, Ayusa students will share what they learned and what surprised them about Texas.

To offer a counterpoint to the exchange students’ artworks, each international student is paired with a Texas student at their host high school, who will share what they learned from their Ayusa partners.
