Reggie Scott Young Black History Month Reading at Palo Alto College

Poet and writer Reggie Scott Young will read from his works, including poems from his new San Antonio poetry project, to PAC students, faculty and staff members, and members from the community on February 13, 2023 at 11 AM. During the reading  Young will also draw from his expertise as a former professor of African American Literature and Studies to offer insights about the African American experience in the United States, including his research into African American history in San Antonio. Copies of his book, Yardbirds Squawking at the Moon will be available for purchase, and a limited number of a broadside of one of his poems will be offered free to those in attendance.
