The San Antonio Black International Film Festival (SABIFF) is pleased to present its inaugural Black film festival October 10-13, 2019. October 11 | 9:00 am – 5:30 pm ($) The Institute of Texan Cultures – Overcoming ‘isms’, Bad Hair and Other Social Constructs Short Films and Interactive Host lead Talk Back Sessions in their Theater In The Round space; Social Cinema Shorts;  Empowering Panels/Forums and Workshops.  Afrofuturism films curated by Black World Cinema for Sci-fi fans. October 12| 10:00 am – 4:00 pm [NC] The Carver Library.  Black Public Media presents AfroPop {Part II} shorts, and a Digital Roots Workshop presented by Maxie and Schatar Collier media makers, authors, & founders of Super Livestreams TV, Black Reflections and the Documentary & Reality TV @CarverLibrary
  7. October 12– 6:30 pm – 10:30 pm [NC]  – La Villita Arneson River Theater. Cinema Under the Stars Closing Night films presented by AfroLandTV. A showcase of Pan African Films. Food Trucks and vendors will be on site. @ArnesonRiverTheater
  8. October 13- 10:00 am – 12:00 pm ($) SABIFF 2019 Awards Brunch for the winners of films in Competition at La Villita Room in the Durango Building Conference Center at UTSA Downtown Campus.
