Kick start your holiday shopping at the second annual Mission Marquee Holiday Market hosted by the City of San Antonio World Heritage Office.
Mission Marquee Plaza will transform into a festive holiday marketplace with local artisans selling handcrafted jewelry, crafts, holiday wreaths, prints and more on Nov. 18 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
The Holiday Market will feature a locally-sourced farmers market, interactive workshops, photo ops with Santa and Mrs. Claus, hands-on tamale making classes, chili and fried bread demos, live music performances, over 40 pop-up vendors, specialty drinks, 200 native tree giveaway, food trucks and more!
Later in the evening, you can return to Mission Marquee Plaza at 6 p.m. for an evening screening of “Frozen” the ultimate Disney movie. As a special treat for kids includes a special appearance and photo ops with Queen Elsa and Princess Anna. Load up your lawn chairs, blankets and snacks to enjoy during the movie. The venue opens at 5:30 p.m. and the movie will begin 15 minutes after dusk. You can also buy food and snacks from local food trucks.
Both events are free and open to the public.
